Eric is the Founder of Keene Advisory Group. He recruits a diverse range of general management, board directors, commercial leadership, and functional executives for clients throughout North America. Formerly with Russell Reynolds Associates, Eric served as a firm-wide leader on Diversity & Inclusion; and was a member of the Consumer and Corporate Officers practices.
Eric has successfully led search engagements across various industries, including consumer markets, energy, financial services, healthcare & life sciences, industrial, private equity, professional services, social impact, and technology. In addition to general management positions, Eric’s commercial placements involve marketing, sales, and strategy roles. He has additional functional experience with finance, human resources, and information & technology assignments.
Previously, Eric worked for McKinsey & Company serving international clientele on issues of operations, organization, sales and strategy. His earlier experience includes several years in sales and marketing with AT&T, O’Connor & Associates/Swiss Bank (UBS), and IBM. A Shaker Heights native, Eric received his MBA as the Weatherhead Alumni Scholar from Case Western Reserve University and earned his BSc in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Eric is a Director Emeritus of the Alumni Association of Case Western Reserve University and Co-Founder of the Dr. Ervin “Vinny” Caraballo Endowed Scholarship at Dominican University. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the International Executive Resources Group, and the Greater Cleveland Partnership.
Eric frequently participates as a panelist as a DEI recruitment expert, specifically in the C-suite and Boardroom. He has been featured in Columbus CEO Magazine, and Innovating Leadership, Co-creating Our Future, a global radio talk show hosted by Maureen Metcalf.
