Sho possesses over 30 years of experience in executive search for both foreign and Japanese companies in the automotive industry, including auto part suppliers and importers. Sho handles industrial sector clients with a specific focus on Legal, HR and PR functions, as well as identifying CEO and COO candidates for Private Equity funds. He has a successful completion ratio in excess of 95%, with no successful candidate having left a client company within three months of employment.
Sho worked at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. for more than 20 years, in various positions, including three and a half years in Washington, D.C. and one year at the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. Prior to leaving, he was the Manager for Corporate Citizenship in the Corporate Communications Department. He then became an Executive Director at Russell Reynolds Associates before becoming the President of Potomac Associates.
Sho has a B.A. degree in law from the University of Tokyo and completed an executive training program at the University of Illinois. He is the President of the Japan Illini Club, alumni organization for University of Illinois.
